Like many fitness enthusiasts, you're probably wearing one of those branded polyester moisture wicking shirts while exercising – have you noticed how the shirt becomes saturated after you've been sweating and then sticks to your skin; the fabric snagging, pulling or catching on your skin; the itching or burning feeling? How about that uncomfortable 'chill' feeling after you finish exercising? And what about that bad odor that never seems to wash out? Did you know many of those synthetic shirts are made from petroleum-based chemicals, like PET - Polyethylene Terephthalate? That doesn't sound very natural!

What makes Active Cotton^® so different? It pulls moisture away from the skin to emulate the body's natural "cooling", and unlike synthetics, does not wick and soak the garment - it moves the moisture through to the surface of the fabric and allows evaporation there, keeping the rest of the garment dry and comfortable – true one-way moisture movement.

NO ODOUR
Many of today’s performance garments are petroleum based (synthetic/ polyester) which provides a distinct odour.  Moreover, it is also not uncommon for synthetic garments to “trap” odour causing microbes from repeated workouts.  Due to the nature of the garment, it is unlikely to remove this odour through laundering.   Cotton, being an organic fiber, is easily laundered and naturally breathes.

 

MOISTURE WICKING, NO ITCHING
Synthetic fibers naturally repel water and therefore need to be topically treated with a chemical agent that loses its ability to wick away moisture with each washing.  However, the comfort qualities of Active Cotton™ are permanent. They're built right into the fiber itself so you always feels soft, odour free, and always stay dry.  The more you wash the garment, the better it performs.
